Living green and natural is all about baby steps. Everyday is an opportunity to nourish your body, eat healthy and inspire others to do the same. There’s always a new product, a new supplement, a new company that is bringing the best to the table for more organic living. Now that today is April 1st, I thought it would be nice to come up with 10 items that every natural homemaker needs in his/her home, or not.

In the Kitchen
Paper is clearly a more eco-friendly option than plastic. That’s why these paper cups are a perfect choice for your next BBQ. They come in a 24-pack so there’s plenty for everyone on your birthday list. Or not.
In a pinch, I’ll toss some canned tuna with homemade mayonnaise and serve it up in lettuce wraps. I can now broaden my palate and have some variety as long as my pantry is stocked with Canned Unicorn Meat. Or not.
Grilling the old fashioned way, you know using a grill, is so yesterday! Invite your neighbors for a cook-out using this Hot Dog toaster. Or not.
It’s time to retire that #1 Dad coffee mug and replace it with something more appropriate, don’t ya think? Or maybe just plant something in it. Or not.
In the Bath
Bacon is my favorite food group. That’s why I am so excited to bring this amazing product to your attention. If you’ve been looking for the perfect body wash, look no further. Your dog will love you even more. Or not.
When a quick shower just won’t cut it, take a soak in this Redneck Bubble Bath. It comes with a generous supply of beans, Tabasco sauce and free shipping. Or not.
It’s gambling in disguise. Or paying your kids to shower. Hey, as long as this Money Soap gets that bacon smell off of you. Or not.
General Wellness
Children who lived with a pet during the first year of life had about half the risk of developing allergies as compared to those without a pet in the house. That’s why this Pet Rock makes a great addition to your kids’ overall wellness. Comes with a walking leash. Or not.
Richard’s HOPE workout series is based on the science of Triple Training. I don’t know what that means, but it’s reasonably priced: 9 great workouts for under $12. Hurry, snag yours before they run out. Or not.
I know what you’re thinking, you don’t need another exercise equipment, but this Exercise Block is a modest 9″x6″ piece, small enough to take it on the go. Personally, this is my kind of fitness routine. I can commit to doing this twice a day. Setting the bar high, my friend, setting the bar high. Or not.
Happy April Fool’s Day! And please know, I can’t stand behind any of these products mentioned above, not because I don’t believe in them (that exercise block looks promising) 😉 but because simply this was a fun post for me to do and that’s why I did it. Use these products at your own discretion. 🙂
