Take 12 months of the year, clean it free from despair, fear, bitterness, pride, arrogance, covetousness, selfishness, and resentment.
Divide each month into three equal parts, keeping proportions similar to each other, making sure that each day is filled with no more than 1/3 of {meaningful} work. The remaining 2/3 must be filled with intentional contentment, joy, love, kindness, faithfulness, and communion with loved ones and dear family and friends.
Combine everything well until the mass is uniform and consistent.
When combined well, add a pint of patience and disciple, a cup of honesty, 3 heaping tablespoons of charity, ¼ cup of willpower, few grains of tolerance and a spoonful of kindness – especially towards who need it most.
Carefully, using a large rubber spatula, pour the contents onto a large platter of hope. Cover all with the sweetness of love.
Garnish with the tenderness of softly spoken words and a heartfelt embrace.
Enjoy and may you have a blessed 2016!
