Fall Inspired Steel Cut Oatmeal

  • 1/4 Anjou pear thinly sliced
  • 2 teaspoon butter
  • 1 packet of favorite Pacific Foods Steel Cut Oatmeal I used unsweetened
  • favorite fall fruits: apples persimmons, pears, oranges, pomegranate
  • favorite toppings: heavy cream chia seeds, bee pollen, coconut flakes, nuts & seeds
  • favorite seasonings: cinnamon nutmeg, coconut sugar, maple syrup


  • Melt butter in small skillet. Add sliced pears and brown on both sides.
  • Spoon oatmeal into a small saucepan and heat on medium low. You many need to add a few tablespoons of water or milk as your heating since the cooking process will thicken the oatmeal.
  • Plate the oatmeal, add your favorite toppings, sweetener, or seasonings.
