Do you know that chicken feet are the secret ingredient to making broth that gels when cooled?

If you are squemish about chicken feet - I don't blame you.  But chicken feet are rich in collagen, a much needed protein that is necessary to support healthy bones, nails, skin, and hair. And it's so easy to make broth from chicken feet.

Step 1

Add everything to pot. Add chicken bones, chicken feet, all vegetables and aromatics, along with apple cider vinegar to draw out the minerals form bones.  Add enough water to cover all contents. Set on "soup" setting for 120 minutes.

Strain the broth. When cooking cycle has completed and it is safe to open the Instant Pot, remove all solid contents and transfer to colander over a bowl to catch broth. Strain broth through a fine mesh sieve. Transfer to storage container.

Refrigerate or freeze for later. Once bone broth has cooled completely, store in refrigerator for up to 7 days.  Or freeze for up to 6 months.
